What your body tells you before the tests do
Metabolism doesn't "fail" suddenly. It sends signals.
Common signals include:

- constant need for sweet snacks
- shallow sleep
- progressive abdominal accumulation
- difficulty maintaining weight
A healthy metabolism feels like:
- constant energy
- stable satiety
- mental clarity
