What is EMSCULPT NEO?

EMSCULPT NEO is the first and only non-invasive body remodeling procedure that combines radiofrequency (RF) heating for fat tissue reduction and high-intensity focused electromagnetic energy (HIFEM®) for muscle strengthening and toning, all in a single session of approximately 30 minutes.

The treatment acts simultaneously on fat and musculature, resulting in reduction of the fat layer and increase in muscle mass, in a short time and without invasive procedures.

Average results reported in clinical studies include:

  • reduction of up to 30% of subcutaneous abdominal fat
  • increase of approximately 25% in muscle mass
  • average reduction in waist circumference of approximately 5.9 cm
  • reduction of 19% in abdominal diastasis

EMSCULPT NEO can be used in patients with body mass index (BMI) of up to 35 and is FDA (U.S. Food and Drug Administration) approved.

How does EMSCULPT NEO work?

The treatment uses an applicator that simultaneously emits synchronized RF and HIFEM+ energies.

  • Radiofrequency (RF) rapidly heats the muscle tissue, increasing its temperature by several degrees. This process prepares the muscles for intense contractions, similar to a warm-up before exercise.
  • In approximately 4 minutes, the temperature in the subcutaneous fat tissue reaches a level that triggers apoptosis (programmed destruction of fat cells), which are subsequently eliminated naturally by the body.
  • HIFEM+ energy produces extremely intense muscle contractions, impossible to obtain through voluntary exercise. These contractions result in muscle adaptation and development, resulting in increased muscle fiber and volume.

Through this combined action, the treatment allows fat burning and muscle toning in the same session.

What areas can be treated with EMSCULPT NEO?

The treatment can be applied to multiple areas of the body, including:

  • abdomen

How many sessions are needed?

For optimal results, it is generally recommended 4 sessions of 30 minutes each, scheduled at intervals of 5–10 days.

Results continue to improve in the weeks following treatment, as the body eliminates fat cells and muscle mass develops progressively.
