Frenectomy with frenoplasty of the prepuce – classical technique
A short frenulum of the prepuce can cause pain, tension during erection, difficulties during sexual contact, or recurrent minor bleeding. The frenectomy with frenoplasty procedure aims to release the frenulum and reconstruct the area in an aesthetic and functional manner.
The intervention is performed using classical surgical technique, under local anesthesia, in safe and comfortable conditions.
After local anesthesia, the frenulum is carefully sectioned and surgically remodeled, then sutured with resorbable sutures. The intervention lasts approximately 20–30 minutes.
Complete healing typically occurs within 2–4 weeks. Temporary sexual abstinence is recommended and medical instructions should be followed.
